At EKG equestrian our trainer Kella Wescott practices a seamless blend of the old school principles of respect and consistency with new age approaches. By integrating techniques rooted in the 7 emotional systems such as play, fear, and care. The training goes deeper than mechanics. We are focused on helping horses feel safe, understood, and taping into their natural willingness. Through hands on bodywork and relationship based groundwork, each horse is guided toward balance, trust, and a true partnership with their rider.

We are committed to finding the right match for both horse and rider. All horses are sold to approved homes only, ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve. To help create lasting partnerships, we offer lessons and trial sessions to support a smooth and successful transition for both new owners and their horses.
OTTB Restart
EKG Equestrian specializes in off track thoroughbred (OTTB) restarts. Jumping inspires OTTB's to engage their minds and showcase their natural abilities. By understanding each horse's unique personality, she lets them guide their own journey. This approach fosters trust and a fulfilling experience for both horse and rider. First 50 rides
Get your young horse started with confidence. At EKG Equestrian we use a gentle approach when starting colts and fillies. We encourage natural curiosity and play while also teaching clear boundaries. We understand the importance of building trust and a strong foundation for these young horses. Our commitment to nurturing both skill and spirit sets the stage for a successful partnership between horse and rider.
Lessons
Lessons available for all levels, with a strong focus on beginners. My program builds a solid foundation in balance, control, and correct position, preparing new riders to confidently progress into any discipline whether it’s dressage, jumping, eventing, barrel racing, gaming or even pleasure riding. By developing core skills from the start, I help riders grow into well-rounded, capable equestrians ready to excel wherever their interests take them.
Each horse must undergo an in person consultation prior to the commencement of training.
